Lovisa and I woke up really early, and tried to wake Bea. We were almost done with our packing when Bea finally woke up. So, we helped her and then all three of us went down for some breakfast. Then up to our room again and fixed the last few things.

When everyone was ready we went to Victoria&Albert museum to see a exhibition called Decode. It was very cool and inspiering. We got a few hour of free time so a couple of us just chilled around, bouggt some coffee and some crisps.

Later, when we was waiting at the airport, we were goin to eat at Pret A Manger. And we got to take what ever we wanted, it made me very happy because i ♥LOVE♥ Pret!

Today we woke up in good time for breakfast. We had like an hour and a half until our gruop would meet up. Johan and Adam had checked a oppositeness to SL but for London, to find a faster way to travel to Docklands. Today it only took about 45 minutes maybe.

Since we knew we weren't allowed to interview anyone today, we went to a nearby "mall" to spy on all the people walking by, draw some sketches and just get the atmosphere. I had my tele lens with me, so I took some (a lot..) pictures of the unaware people under us.

That's pretty much what we did the at our place today. Took alot of sneak photos.

 

In the afternoon I went to Primark with Lovisa and Bea, so now I've shopped enough for a year or so.. One thing that really amazes me is the price on Primark. It's soooo cheap! I really don't get it.. Like, a t-shirt in Sweden costs maybe..50-70-100 kr. A cheap one that is. On Primark it would be like.. 20 kr. At the maximum.

 

Well, the evening, since it was our last night here, we were allwed to be out to 00.00. So almost the whole class gathered in Johan, Micke and Adams room. It was a very nice last night.

 

We woke up. That's were our problems started this particular Tuesday. We were late so ran down for some breakfast and still found our selves there 5 minutes before our group were going to meet. Ran back upstairs and did our make-up at the same time as we brushed our teeth (not me..I get to that later). We made it on time. Woho!

Our group is made up of Lovisa, Bea, Linn, Tova, Joakim, Kristian, Micke, Adam, Johan and me myself of course. We were going to Docklands. And it took a while.. about an hour and a half maybe.
When we finally got there at least I were amazed by all the glass! All the buildings were made by it..Shiny.. Almost immediately a guard told us that we couldn't take pictures of some bank building. Okay we said and continued our exploring. Lovisa, Bea, Linn, Tova and me did some kind of teamwork. Lovisa asked the questions, Tova recorded it, Linn filmed it, Bea drew it and I took pictures of it, so we would have much to work with later. After a while Tova and I just documented the surroundings, I had the film camera and she the tape recorder. Suddenly a police came up to us and asked what we were doing. He wanted to see what we had on the camera. He also asked us if we've heard about terrorists, and said that we couldn't take pictures of any surveillance cameras or entry's. We also had to go to one of the buildings and talk to some.. security chief.. So, we did that. We asked the lady in the reception who we should talk to and she phoned someone that I talked to. I didn't understand everything he said because he spoke quite fast and whit some kind of accent, but I got the overall message.

So, we went back to the group and told them the information that we had received. No pictures of entry's or cameras and we were not allowed to stop people and talk to them, so no interviews. Our time at Canada Square was pretty much over for today anyway, so we met up with Felicia and the other class and went back to central London were the rest of our class was.
We were heading for the Design Museum. Karin, Magnus and Felicia told us that we had to stay there for al least an hour. That actually seemed like an awful lot of time when there only was one room too look in.

After the visit to the museum we got free time until dinner. So I went with a couple of the girls to Oxford Street. I forgot to tell before but after that shower @ Sara&Vera's, when I got back to our room, I realised that I'd forgot my toothbrush at home. Back to Oxford Street. I saw a Boots, a bought a new, shiny toothbrush!

We went to some more stores, and I bought a pair of pyjama pants @ David&Goliath. It was happy popcorns on them. We slowly transferred back to the hotel for some chill mode in Sara&Vera's room. Again. We hung out on their balcony until dinner time. Today, thankfully, the restaurant actually understood that they had to prepare a 70-people dinner BEFORE we got there. So we didn't have to wait for the food for like one and a half hour this time.

 

After dinner, we gathered in our groups so we could talk about what we would do tomorrow. Compiled our information a bit. Talked to Karin, Magnus and Felicia too, about what we think of the place and what we would concentrate on tomorrow since we weren't allowed to interview anyone.

 

Just chilled the evening through, and got in bed in a reasonable time. Both Bea and Lovisa were actually awake when I got to our room! Amazing...

 

When we finally got on a train to London everyone was very excited. We were actually here! It took about 45 minutes to Liverpool Street. My luggage got stuck in one of the things you walk through in and out of the subway.. hm.. it started to beep. A bit embarrassing..
We eventually got to the hotel and we got about 20 minutes just to leave our bags and get ready to go again. This time we were up for some sightseeing.
Took the bus from Bayswater to Big Ben, went over the bridge to London Eye and then along the Themse to another bridge and took the subway home again. Oh, right.. on the second bridge Joel found a guy with a snake. So, for a pound Joel got the snake around his neck.

When we got back to the hotel we checked out each others rooms. This is a really nice hotel! I live with Lovisa and Bea K, we got a double bed and a single one, but we moved them together so it became one huge bed instead.

At 18.30 all of us gathered outside the hotel and went to the steak house were we were going to eat. It took more than two hours, they were sooooo slow.. and most of us really didn't have the patient to wait that long. Back at the hotel we had a quick meeting with the teachers about what we would do the following days.

We rested for a while and when we got the energy back, or at least I got my energy back (Lovisa and Bea were practically sleeping already..). I ran around and ended up in Sara and Veras room. And as we all know the time really fly when you have fun, and all of a sudden i realized that i couldn't go back to our room to take a shower because Lov&Bea were sleeping.. So i borrowed Sara&Veras shower. When I got back to my room I accidently banged my head in the wall two times, then my hip, leg and foot in variable objects a couple of times too. I didn't want to wake them up, so therefore I hadn't switched the light on. Bea was laughing at me in her sleep..

I survived day one!

When we all finished, we got back to the teachers and.....waited...waited..waited..Waited a bit more just for fun...

Apparently there was a girl in the C-class that hadn't ate because she is allergic to basically everything. It's a miracle she's still alive......

 

 

After a half an hour of waiting we finally got on a train to London...

Joel forgot his ticket at home. It's only me, Max and Joel here so far. I hope a teacher or two turn up soon so we can fix it. I think you can print a checked in ticket untill 40 minutes before the gate closes but it didn't work for Joel at the nearby hotel.

The problem is solved. RyanAir isn't very nice to travel with all the time but atleast he will get on the plane :)

I alway leave things to do when I'm goning away. This time too. I know I have all the absolutley necessary things like passport, ticket and money. But I ALWAYS forget something, wonder what it's gonna be this time..

Waking up really early, pack the last few things and then... Off to London. I'm in love with that city.
